Welcome to our Web site! We are located in NC and are committed to raising exceptional Shetalnd Sheep We no longer breed Shelties, still have a few along with a Border Collie and a livestock guardian dog. Our farm is located south of Raleigh, NC. My husband and I are both retired and enjoying the passion of our shelties and Shetland sheep. Our family is raised now and the grandchildren enjoy the farm, we are sure they will have fond memories of Nana's sheep and dogs when they grow up. I would love to think one of them might choose to devote some of their life to the things I have done. We are in our in our 9th year of of shepherding , each year bring new experiences and challenges.
We have shown our dogs in various venues through the years, the sheep have been a new experience and we find it most interesting. The sheep really show themselves, we just accompany them hanging on tight !! We have been showing sheep for serveral years now and have accumulated hundreds of ribbons, rosetts and banners. In 2997 we won the covetted Supreme Champion ewe at the NC State fair. IN 2008 wonthe Best White Fleece at the Mt. State fair. On two occasions we were awarded both Campion fine White and Colored in the fine division at the NC State Fair, in 2007 and 2010. In both cases they were twin ewes.
